Talia The Alkemist

About Talia

After earning a BA in Advertising and a master’s in Industrial-Organizational Behavior, I spent 15 years working in training and development, retail management, and human resources. In 2020, I left the corporate world—and the corporate BS—to pursue tattooing full time and reconnect with my creativity. Today, I own a small, private, appointment-only studio where I genuinely enjoy connecting with my clients and giving each piece the attention it deserves. My artistic style is still beautifully unfolding, so I approach every tattoo individually—one meaningful piece and one genuine connection at a time. Outside of tattooing, I’m a big dreamer with spiritual, spooky vibes, a novice gamer, a pure-hearted Disney kid, and the proud collector of entirely too many half-assed hobbies. Complimentary virtual consultations are available for up to one hour. My rates are flexible within reason, and I’m always open to an honest conversation about your vision and budget.

Policies

Deposit Policy

All deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will result in the loss of your deposit. Rescheduling requires an additional $100 deposit; both deposits will be honored and applied toward your tattoo service. Repeated cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

Cover-up policy

Accepting cover-ups.

Cover Up Guide

All cover-ups require a consultation before booking. Please understand that not every tattoo can be successfully covered as-is. Your new design may need to be larger, darker, or completed over multiple sessions. Complete concealment cannot be guaranteed, and laser removal or lightening may be recommended before tattooing.

Touch - Up Policy

Touch-ups on my original work are complimentary once the tattoo is fully healed. Please send a clear photo so I can assess the area before scheduling. Free touch-ups cover minor ink loss from the natural healing process and do not include design changes, additions, or damage caused by improper aftercare.

Creative Freedom Statement

I’m still learning to be firm about this one, lol, so I say it with much love: inspiration and reference photos are always welcome, but they will be used as a starting point rather than copied directly. I’ll thoughtfully transform your ideas into a custom design that fits your body, honors your vision, and allows room for my creativity. By booking, you agree to reasonable creative freedom while remaining part of the design conversation.

Session Preparation Notes

Please arrive well-rested, hydrated, and having eaten a full meal beforehand. Wear clean, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area. Avoid alcohol before your appointment, and please do not apply numbing creams or other products unless we have discussed and approved them in advance.

Artwork Preview

Custom artwork will be shared 24–48 hours before your appointment once your booking and deposit are secured. Please review your design promptly and communicate any requested revisions as soon as possible. Small adjustments can also be discussed and finalized together at the beginning of your session.

Design and/or Concept Change

Small adjustments to your design are welcome and can usually be made before or at the beginning of your appointment. Major changes to the concept, subject, style, size, or placement—especially when requested close to the appointment—may require additional drawing time, rescheduling, and a new deposit.

Guest

My studio is a small, intimate space designed to remain calm and comfortable throughout your session. Each client may bring one support person. To protect the atmosphere and safety of the studio, smoking and drinking alcohol are not permitted.
