About Blair
I, Blair Schwartz, am primarily a fine line and black work tattoo artist. I work at Old Glory Tattoo Co. in Asbury Park, NJ I have always been an artist. In my free time you can always find me fiddling with something. In 2018, I graduated art school with a BFA in fine art with a concentration in photography and drawing. Before I found tattooing, I wore many hats. I taught kids photography and drawing in after school programs, sold my art at markets, did henna tattoos, and mostly any artistic job I could get involved in. I was offered a tattoo apprenticeship in 2020 after a tattoo artist saw me henna a unicorn on a moving 6 year old and I never looked back. These days I have my own private booth at Brand New Tattoo and I love to talk while we work or get into the flow listening to music. Over the years my tattooing style has evolved and these days I most enjoy fine line, black work, and getting just the right placement so the tattoo really flows with the body. My favorite things to draw are florals, moths/butterflies, and anything with a spooky theme that speaks to my little goth heart. While I primarily work in those styles, I love throwing color into my designs. Feel free to reach out with any and all tattoo ideas.
