- How do I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
- Get plenty of rest, drink lots of water, eat a good meal and avoid alcohol the night before.
- What should I wear?
- Depending on the placement of your tattoo make sure the area is easily accessible or easy to remove. Avoid wearing tight clothing or clothing that may interfere with your tattoo placement.
- Can I bring people with me?
- You are allowed to bring 1 other person. No groups unless all are being tattooed (ie. flash bookings)
- How to I care for my tattoo?
- (If wrapped in cling wrap remove 2-3 hrs after) (If saniderm was used GENTLY remove under water by pulling edges in 3-5 days or if it is already coming up) 1. Rinse with warm water and use antibacterial soap to clean. 2. Use a paper towel to pat dry (DO NOT use a regular towel as they harbor bacteria and may infect your tattoo) 3. Once completely dried apply a thin layer of unscented lotion. (Avoid using petroleum based products) 4. Repeat the steps daily until your tattoo is fully healed. * Reach out at anytime if you have questions. I’m here for you and your safety :)
- What if my tattoo is itchy?
- Avoid a rating your tattoo as it can pull up ink ruining the tattoo. Gently pat the tattoo and apply lotion to hydrate your tattoo.
- How long will it take for my tattoo to heal?
- Tattoos typically take 3-4 weeks until fully healed.
- What should I avoid after my tattoo?
- 1.Avoid direct sunlight on the tattoo 2. Avoid submerging the tattoo in water for prolonged periods of time (no swimming) 3. Avoid excessive exercise as sweat may infect your tattoo 4. Avoid scratching the tattoo
