I specialize in custom tattoos formatted to fit the collector’s body proportions. I work with one person per day, from 12-8 pm. Generally speaking, I work with people who are looking to have me design large scale cohesive work for them and are expecting to pay $800-1200 per session. For large-scale work, I will schedule 1 in person design consult. My own influences draw from connection to nature. I really enjoy tattooing animals, landscapes, florals, fauna, sacred geometry, ornamentals and the anything from the forest. I have literally 20 + years of artistic experience that I like to rely on. I generally prefer to work with an idea, feeling, or general direction and then be allowed to put that together for the body placement. I take the time to listen to what you’re saying, to the emotion behind your idea, to the reason you're choosing to make this mark, and I also gather my own ideas and inspiration from what I hear. I am most interested in creating my own artwork versus something you printed from online, and prefer to be allowed the creative freedom to use my technical skills and vision to enhance your ideas. I am mixed mexican, irish, and native american (tsalagi) and I am an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation. I really love when I can create work for my southeastern relatives and continue to bring those understandings and realities into my day to day experience, worldview, and practice. As such, when it is appropriate, I do enjoy doing cultural tattoos and markings, especially contemporary takes on cultural motifs, reconnection, ancestral healing intentions, decolonization and land back motifs. I highly recommend booking two days back to back if you are starting any large project, at least for your first visit.

Policies

Deposit Policy

Non-refundable deposit, in accordance with industry standard. Your deposit will only be credited to your final appointment when you finish the tattoo, but is otherwise non-refundable. If you cancel, you will not be refunded your deposit. If you need to reschedule, you may do so with proper notice without any loss of deposit (5 days). If you change your mind about a tattoo design after a design session and want to change it to a completely new design, it will require a new deposit.

Cover-Up Policy

Accepting cover-ups.

Scheduling Policy

Please eat food and drink water prior to your appointment, and bring food with you. Do not skip eating. Avoid chemical fragrances. It is preferred that you don't bring extra people with you to the design or tattoo appointment. Thanks.

Photo reference guidance:

Please do not submit AI generated references, especially if you want the tattoo to look like the AI model. We will not be doing that. Best to submit actual photos of the thing requested (i.e. photo of the species of hummingbird you are asking for). Submit photos of tattoos that are similar to what you like. It is acceptable for style guides but will not be duplicated. If you are requesting a cover-up, please submit photos of the entire area, showing the tattoo that needs to be covered up.

One Person Policy

Don’t bring the group with you. Tattoo shops are not a place to bring children and family members. Your Artist only wants to work with you, one on one. Bringing extra people is really distracting and tattooing is a high cognitive load task. If you choose to bring one person, be very mindful of how they will affect the rest of the space and everyone else working in it. They will be expected to sit up front in the waiting area and not in the procedure area.

Punctuality

Artist is often on site 1 to 2 hours before your appointment time. Please arrive on time and respect their time. The clock will start at 12 noon and they will not be going late just because you came late.

FAQ

How should I prepare?

Basic self-care is adequate. Sleep well, eat healthy, hydrate, wash yourself, smell good. Moisturizing in the week(s) leading to your appointment can work wonders for your skin to receive the tattoo. You can shave the area beforehand for us, but not mandatory. Bring food with you. Bring your photo ID. Bring extra layers. Clear space in your schedule for proper healing and aftercare.

How does the process work to get a tattoo by you?

Fill out the booking form. Pay deposit. Book in-person design session & consequential tattoo appointment(s) We will meet in person to get to know each other and bring clarity to the design. Then we will tattoo it and you will pay me for my work, wowed by the quality and care for each step. Rinse, repeat?

Can I bring a friend or spouse?

Overall, I prefer to work just with you. If you have legit anxiety and need a comfort person, and you can discern who will know how to handle themselves, then you can. But, please be selective in who you decide to bring with you and how their energy will impact both of our experience.

Do you do small tattoos?

At the moment, small tattoos that are not my own flash are not a priority for me. I will occassionally offer flash days where people can get small tattoos, but I generally specialize in larger scale, premium work with an emphasis on illustrative realism birds and animals, landscapes, blackwork, ornamental and geometric detailings.
