About Zella

My tattoos blend modernity with history. My style is close to woodcut and etching styles. I have my MS in Nordic History and Viking Studies, so blending in the past comes naturally to me! weather it's recreating an older etching on skin, or creating something new, I'm happy to do it! I also specialize in "reading-based" tattoos. I utilize historic folk magic practices to create a customized stave or symbol that comes from the reading we do together.

Policies

Deposit Policy

I require a $100 non-refundable scheduling fee for each appointment. It is NOT a deposit. This fee DOES NOT come out of the price of your tattoo, but is an addition to my half-day/full-day pricing.

Rescheduling Policy

I understand things happen and sometimes you (or I) cannot make the appointment. · If I need to reschedule, you will not be charged any sort of fee, and will not need to put down another deposit to reschedule. · If you need to reschedule, you may do so with no less than 72 hours’ notice. You will not need to put down another fee. I allow two reschedules this way. On the third reschedule, you will need to put a deposit of $100 down in order to reschedule. This deposit WILL go towards your tattoo cost, unlike the fee. · If you need to cancel or reschedule 72 hours or less before your appointment, you will need to put a deposit of $100 down in order to reschedule. This deposit WILL go towards your tattoo cost, unlike the fee. · If you are 15 or more minutes late and I have not heard from you, I consider this a “no call no show”, and you will be charged 50% of your original quoted tattoo price. I will not reschedule anyone who no shows me, and will not work with them again. Instead, please message me on Instagram or email me if you are running late to make sure we can still accommodate your appointment!
