About Nicole

Nicole Zummo is a Professional Tattoo Artist with a deep passion for bringing her clients ideas to life. Her artistic journey began at a young age, fueled by a curiosity to explore various creative mediums, including drawing, painting, wood burning, calligraphy, and fluid art. At 19, she began her tattoo apprenticeship, dedicating four and a half years to learning under the guidance of her mentor. In 2022, Nicole opened her private studio in Hauppauge NY, where she currently tattoos clients. Her love for travel takes her to various destinations - frequently to Saint Augustine Florida, and San Diego California, where she regularly tattoos. Now entering her eighth year as a professional tattoo artist, Nicole continues to refine her signature style. She is particularly drawn to botanical, sea life, and antique-inspired designs, bringing intricate details and thoughtful artistry to each piece. While her specialties are evident in her work, Nicole welcomes all tattoo styles.

Policies

Deposit Policy

A nonrefundable initial investment of $100 + $10 fee is required to reserve your appointment. Payment link will be sent once an appointment date is confirmed. Once your deposit is received, your design and appointment date are confirmed. All deposits are non-refundable. One reschedule is allowed if notified at least 4 days in advance. Your deposit will be applied to your new date. Immediate rescheduling for available months is required I do not hold deposits for an extended period. If you notify me 4 days or less from your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook. Your deposit will come off of the total of your tattoo the day of - or final booked appointment.

Rescheduling Policy

I require a minimum of 4 days notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Notice must be given in writing via email to nicolezummobookings@gmail.com. If notice is given within this timeframe, your deposit will carry over to your rescheduled appointment. If notice is not received within 4 days, your deposit will be void, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Only one reschedule is allowed per deposit. I often have multiple sessions scheduled in a day, so if you are more than 20 minutes late to your appointment, I may ask you to reschedule and pay a new deposit. Appointment durations are approximate, so please do not schedule anything immediately after your appointment as I cannot guarantee the exact completion time

Touch-Up Policy

I offer * one * free touch up which must be booked with in 3 months of the original appointment date. If tattoo aftercare was neglected and there is significant damage to the tattoo - there will be a charge based on how much work must be done. Please send an email explaining your aftercare regimen - any products used - if there was any sun exposure / damage etc during the healing period. After the 3 month time frame - touch ups will start at $125.

Design Policy

Designs are not shared before your appointment and will be created and shown to you the day of. That’s why I ask for as many references and details as possible in your initial inquiry - it helps me craft a design that perfectly matches your vision. Minor adjustments can be made during the appointment. No major changes or total redesigns will be accommodated; requesting this may result in forfeiture of your entire deposit and your appointment date. Do not book an appointment or send a deposit unless you are 100% certain about your permanent tattoo idea. If you are unsure or debating the design, I recommend waiting until you are completely confident before booking. Booking with me means you trust my work and creative vision. I understand that feeling nervous or uncertain is completely normal when it comes to something as personal as a tattoo. However, this process does require trust - trust that I will bring your idea to life in a way that aligns with my artistic style and your vision. If I sense that you’re not completely confident in the design or concept, or if I feel I cannot meet your expectations, I will recommend rescheduling your appointment. I’m committed to ensuring you’re fully happy with my work, and I will not move forward if there’s any hesitation on your part. If I notice any uncertainty even before booking, I will decline the appointment request to prioritize your comfort and satisfaction.

Day of Appointment

Arrive on time – no earlier. Let me know when you arrive and wait outside my room to fill out paperwork while I set up. No guests are allowed to accompany you at this time. I work in a private studio that only accommodates space for one client and myself. Bring a valid, non-expired ID (driver’s license, passport, or ID card). Wear clothing suited for easy access to the tattoo placement area. Do not use sunscreen, lotion, self-tanner, shower gel, or shave the area the day before or day of your appointment. Ensure you are not sunburned or healing from a sunburn on the area to be tattooed. Eat a filling meal before your appointment – an empty stomach can cause dizziness, nausea, or fainting. Bring layers, water, and snacks to stay comfortable and maintain energy during your session. Refrain from drinking alcohol the night before as it can thin your blood and affect the outcome of your tattoo. Under no circumstances will I tattoo you if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If you arrive at your appointment under the influence, your appointment will be canceled, and you will forfeit your deposit and your right to rebook. Comfort & Safety Masks are optional. You are more than welcome to wear one if that makes you more comfortable. Tips are welcome in any form – cash or electronically!
