About Gloria
I’m Gloria Zhang, a Los Angeles tattoo artist based in West Hollywood with over 25 years of experience. I specialize in black and grey realism, Chinese and Japanese inspired tattoos, Chinese ink wash and Gongbi style, florals, portraits, mandalas, cover ups, and large scale custom work. I also incorporate refined fine line details when they complement the overall design. Every piece is custom designed to fit the client’s body, with careful attention to flow, composition, and meaning. Local and traveling clients are welcome.

Pricing
Pricing is based on size, placement, color, detail, and complexity. Small black and grey tattoos start at $450, and small color tattoos start at $550. Please submit a Booking Request for a custom quote.
Policies
- Deposit Policy
- A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the project, reserve appointment dates, and begin the custom design process. Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. The new appointment must take place within six months of the original appointment date. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice will forfeit the deposit.
- Cover-Up Policy
- Accepting cover-ups.
- Cover-Up Pricing & Requirements
- Cover-ups are accepted case by case. Upload clear photos of the existing tattoo and surrounding skin. Designs may need to be larger or darker and usually cost more due to added planning and time. Deep blues, purples, and greens often provide the best coverage when suitable. Dark pigment may show through as the tattoo heals, so dark or saturated tattoos often require a second paid session. Some may require laser fading. Final price and session count depend on evaluation.
- Custom Design Policy
- Custom design work begins after the 20% deposit is received. The design is sent 3–5 days before the first appointment and includes up to two rounds of minor detail adjustments. Once design work has begun, a complete change of subject, concept, or style is treated as a new project. The original deposit remains non-refundable and cannot be transferred. A new 20% deposit is required before the new design begins, and the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
