About John

I started my tattoo career in 2014 the south of France. I had just graduated from an animation school when my drawing teacher, who was also a tattoo artist, offered me an apprenticeship. In October 2015, I moved to London with the goal of putting myself out there, continuing to learn, and pushing myself to improve. In 2018, I decided to take that approach even further. I wanted to travel as much as possible, guest spotting at different shops to continue learning from other artists. Over the next two years, I had the privilege of meeting some amazing artists and working on increasingly exciting projects. Just before COVID, I returned to my hometown, where I opened a private studio and continued to guest spot occasionally. After three years, I found myself craving a new adventure. That’s when I came across an Instagram post from The Raven and The Wolves (Carlos Torres’s shop) announcing they were looking for new artists. I applied, and shortly after, they reached out to let me know they loved my work and wanted to discuss a possible position. In 2023, I have officially made Long Beach my home, and I’m proud to be part of the amazing team at The Raven and The Wolves.
