About John

I’m John Gabriel, a tattoo artist and designer based in San Diego, California. I’ve always been someone who needs to create. Tattooing became a place where all of the things I love could meet. Art, design, music, movement, architecture, nature, travel, and simply experiencing life. All of it finds its way into my work in one form or another. My style is rooted in geometric tattooing, sacred geometry, ornamental patterns, and black and grey. I love working with structure, symmetry, negative space, and movement, while leaving room for a design to breathe and evolve naturally. More than anything, I want the experience to feel good. Tattooing is personal, and I believe there should be room to feel comfortable, have a laugh, talk about life, or simply enjoy the process. I’m grateful for every person who trusts me with their skin and gives me the opportunity to create alongside them. Policies

Deposit Policy: All deposits are non-refundable. Rescheduling your appointment, especially on short notice, may result in losing your deposit.
Cover-up policy: Accepting cover-ups.
Booking Policies: Please provide at least 7 business days’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations, no-shows, or repeated rescheduling may affect future booking eligibility. Clients must be 18+ and provide valid ID. Please arrive rested, hydrated, and having eaten. Remaining balances are due at your appointment. Payment options include cash, card, and electronic payment.

WHEN ARE YOU OPEN? -I work by appointment, which gives each project the time and attention it deserves. CAN I BRING A FRIEND? -You're welcome to bring a guest, though I usually recommend coming solo since most appointments are on the longer side. -To keep the tattoo space relaxed and distraction-free, guests are asked to wait in the front waiting area during your entire session.
