FAQ

How do I book an appointment?
All appointments can be requested through my online booking page: **https://cocreate.ink/@johnniefamoustattoos** When submitting your request, include as much information as possible about your tattoo, including the idea, placement, approximate size, color or black & grey, and any reference images. Once I review your request, we can go over any additional details needed before confirming your appointment.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is required to secure your appointment. Your deposit goes toward the final price of your tattoo.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are generally non-refundable because appointment time and design time are reserved specifically for you. If you need to reschedule, contact me as early as possible.
How much will my tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on the size, placement, detail, style, color, and estimated tattooing time. Submit your tattoo idea through my booking page so I can review the details and give you an accurate estimate: https://cocreate.ink/@johnniefamoustattoos
Do you have a shop minimum?
Yes. Even small tattoos require setup, sterile supplies, preparation, and cleanup, so a minimum charge applies.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Walk-ins may be accepted depending on availability, but booking ahead is recommended if you want to guarantee a spot. For appointments: https://cocreate.ink/@johnniefamoustattoos
Do you do custom tattoos?
Yes. I can create a custom design based on your idea, references, placement, and overall vision. Submit your idea and reference images through the booking page to get started.
Can you copy another tattoo exactly?
Reference pictures are welcome, but I prefer creating an original version instead of directly copying another artist's work.
When will I see my design?
Designs are normally prepared close to the appointment date. Small adjustments can usually be made before tattooing begins.
Can I change the design?
Yes. Minor changes are usually no problem. Major changes to the original concept may require additional design time or rescheduling.
How big should my tattoo be?
That depends on the amount of detail in the design. Some tattoos need to be larger so the details remain readable and continue looking good as the tattoo ages.
Where should I place my tattoo?
If you're unsure, I can help recommend placement based on the design, body shape, visibility, movement, and how the tattoo will age.
How painful is getting tattooed?
Pain varies from person to person and depends heavily on placement. Some areas are more sensitive than others, but most clients find the tattoo process manageable.
How long will my appointment take?
It depends on the size, detail, placement, skin, and number of breaks needed. Small tattoos may take less than an hour, while larger pieces can require several hours or multiple sessions.
What should I do before my appointment?
Get a good night's sleep, eat a full meal, stay hydrated, shower beforehand, and wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the tattoo area. Please don't show up on an empty stomach
Can I drink alcohol before getting tattooed?
No. Please avoid alcohol before your appointment. Alcohol may increase bleeding and can affect your ability to safely consent to and sit through the tattoo.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area. Wear something you don't mind possibly getting ink or stencil marks on.
Can I bring someone with me?
Usually one guest is fine depending on the workspace and appointment. Please ask before bringing additional people.
What happens if I'm late?
Please contact me if you're running late. Significant lateness may shorten your appointment or require rescheduling depending on the day's schedule.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
Contact me as soon as possible. With enough notice, your deposit may be transferred to a new appointment depending on the circumstances and booking policy.
What happens if I don't show up?
No-shows may lose their deposit and may be required to pay another deposit before booking again.
How do I take care of my tattoo?
Keep the tattoo clean, wash it gently with clean hands, follow the aftercare instructions provided, and use only a small amount of recommended moisturizer. Do not scratch, pick, or peel your tattoo.
Can I shower after getting tattooed?
Yes. Showering is fine, but avoid soaking the tattoo. Do not take long baths or submerge your tattoo in pools, hot tubs, lakes, or similar water while it is healing.
Is peeling and itching normal?
Yes. Light peeling, flaking, and itching are normal parts of the healing process. Do not scratch or pick at your tattoo.
