FAQ
- I am under the age of 18, can I still get a tattoo?
- Yes! Ages 16 and up may get tattooed with parental consent. You must have a parent come with you to sign paperwork as well as provide a valid physical ID for both you and your parent. For minors we accept school ID, drivers license and birth certificates. Must be a parent or legal guardian.
- How should I prepare for my appointment?
- Get plenty of rest, eat prior to your appointment and drink plenty of water! You may bring snacks and water with for your appointment. Please avoid alcohol or caffeine prior to your tattoo!
- How long before I can go workout, swim, and/or tan after my tattoo?
- Please allow up to two weeks for your tattoo to heal properly! Treat your tattoo as an open wound. You want to avoid getting sweat, bacteria, chemicals and salt water in your fresh tattoo as that can increase your risk of infection and hurt the healing results!
- What do I do if I got second skin?
- Please leave the second skin one for 3-5 days. It is water resistant, not water proof, so you may shower with it on just don’t soak it under the water! If the edges start peeling, please remove immediately. Remove the second skin in the shower using warm water and soap and gently peel away from your skin. Once the bandage is off, wash the tattoo twice a day with antibacterial soap and apply a thin amount of lubiderm or Body Aura Ointment!
