Hey, I'm Angel! I'm a tattoo artist at Studio Nine in Provo, Utah. I've always loved creating art, and tattooing lets me combine creativity, storytelling, and human connection into one experience. I specialize in black & gray realism, color realism, illustrative work, and surreal concepts. I love helping shape your ideas into something that feels yours. FAQ
- When will I see my design?
- Most custom designs are completed shortly before your appointment. This allows me to give each project my full attention. We'll review the design together at your appointment, and I'll make reasonable adjustments before we begin tattooing.
- How should I prepare for my appointment?
- Get a good night's sleep, eat a full meal beforehand, and stay hydrated. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed, and avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
- Do you do cover-ups?
- Yes! I accept cover-up projects by consultation only. An in-person consultation allows me to evaluate your existing tattoo and determine the best approach for achieving the strongest possible result.
- Can I bring a friend?
- You're welcome to bring one guest if space allows. Please keep in mind that tattoo sessions require focus, so I ask that guests be respectful of the studio environment.
- Do you tattoo over scars or stretch marks?
- In many cases, yes. It depends on the age, condition, and location of the scar or stretch marks. Please include clear photos when submitting your booking request so I can determine if you're a good candidate.
- Do you use numbing cream?
- Yes! You're welcome to use a numbing cream containing up to 5% lidocaine. Please apply it one hour before your appointment and cover the area with plastic wrap until you arrive. For tattoos where it's appropriate, I also offer a numbing spray once the linework is complete. This can help make the rest of the session more comfortable.
