FAQ
- When are you in the studio?
- I work 4-5 days a week typically starting around 12 noon to 8/9pm at night most days. I own and operate an anime, video game & pop-culture themed studio called Silver Wing Tattoo. Open Tuesdays to Saturdays
- What are your prices?
- To begin the booking process and go about securing a date on my calendar, I require a $200 deposit up front! This ensures I get paid for my time even if you don't show, get sick or have to reschedule. $200/hour is my rate. $800 for half day (approx. 4 hours) $1600 for full day (8+ hours)
- What is your drawing/design process? When do we see designs?
- I typically spend my days off working on my upcoming week's designs. I do my best to show my clients 1-2 days before our appointment, but other times it ends up being the day of the appointment... HOWEVER, I am very thorough with collecting the details, ideas, inspiration and any references and/or sketches youve made to help convey your idea to me! I always book 1 client a day when starting a new piece on someone so we have PLENTY of time to rework things, add or take away elements, etc! I do try to be flexible with this but it does also depend on the time of the year as the summer months tend to be much busier for me!
- How far do you book out?
- Honestly 1-3 months depending on the time of year! The winter months from Nov-March tend to be slower with more availability. Whereas summer is typically packed with appointments, especially for saturdays! So please plan accordingly!
- What is your favorite thing to tattoo?
- I love dabbling in everything! I believe to be a truly great artist, you have to be well rounded. I bounce around each week from color realism, neo traditional, illustrative styles, anime and even black and grey realism! Althouth, I am happiest when I get to do color, it's not the only genre of tattoos I book. I least like tribal but that mostly has to do with not wanting to appropriate culture simply because I am the least educated on this style.
- What Aftercare do you use/recommend?
- Everyone at our studio uses Recovery derm & InkBeetle! These are protective coverings that go over the tattoo to prevent foreign bacteria, dust, etc from entering your open wound.
