About Roger
Roger Breda | Award-Winning New York Tattoo Artist & Painter Born in Brazil and currently based in New York City, NYC, Roger Breda has spent over two decades exploring the connection between canvas and skin. His art transcends realism by combining expressive brushstrokes with hyper-realistic precision, blending the real with the vibrant, fluid colors of watercolor. From this fusion emerges his specialty, which he calls realistic watercolor or watercolor realism, creating living works where painting and tattooing meet in perfect harmony. Breda’s style captures portraits of life, horror, and cinema, weaving emotion and narrative into each piece. Throughout his career, he has won prestigious awards at international tattoo conventions in Brazil and abroad, solidifying his reputation. His work has been featured on major TV programs, magazines, books, and interviews, establishing him as a recognized authority in tattoo art.
