Policies

Deposit Policy

A deposit is required to secure your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable because they reserve your specific appointment time and compensate for preparation and design work. Your deposit will be applied toward the final cost of your tattoo unless otherwise stated. All deposits are non-refundable. Rescheduling your appointment, especially on short notice, may result in losing your deposit.

Booking Policy

Appointments must be booked in advance. A booking is not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received. Please make sure all information provided when booking is accurate, including your contact information, tattoo idea, size, placement, and any reference images.

Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible. Cancellations made within the required notice period may result in the loss of your deposit. Repeated cancellations may require a larger deposit or payment in full before booking another appointment.

Rescheduling policy

Appointments may be rescheduled with proper notice. Your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment when the rescheduling requirements are met. Repeatedly rescheduling may result in your deposit being forfeited.

Late arrival policy

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arriving late may reduce the amount of time available for your tattoo. If you arrive significantly late, your appointment may need to be shortened, rescheduled, or canceled, and your deposit may be forfeited.

No show policy

If you do not show up for your appointment without contacting me, your deposit will be forfeited. No-shows may also be required to pay a new deposit or the full appointment cost before being allowed to book again.

Design and revision policy

Tattoo designs are created specifically for each client. Minor changes may be requested before your appointment, but excessive revisions or completely changing the original concept may require additional design time or a new appointment. Please communicate your ideas clearly during the booking process.

Tattoo approval policy

You will have the opportunity to review your stencil/design before tattooing begins. Please carefully check the spelling, placement, size, and overall design. Once you approve the stencil and tattooing begins, changes may not be possible.

Pricing policy

Tattoo prices are based on factors such as size, placement, detail, complexity, estimated time, and whether the piece is custom. A quote is an estimate unless a flat price has specifically been agreed upon. Additional work requested during the appointment may result in an additional charge.

Touch up policy

Some tattoos may require a touch-up once fully healed. If a complimentary touch-up is offered, it applies only to minor areas that did not heal properly and does not include intentional changes, additions, or damage caused by improper aftercare. Tattoos must be completely healed before a touch-up is performed.

Age and identification policy

Clients must meet the applicable legal age requirements for tattooing. Valid identification may be required before your appointment. If required by law, appropriate parental or guardian documentation must be provided.

Consent policy

Before being tattooed, clients must complete the required consent paperwork and acknowledge that tattooing carries risks such as irritation, allergic reactions, infection, scarring, and changes in appearance as the tattoo heals.

Health and safety policy

Your safety is a priority. All tattooing will be performed using appropriate sanitation, sterilization, disposable supplies, and infection-control procedures. The workspace and equipment will be prepared according to applicable health and safety requirements.

Client disclosure policy

Please communicate any relevant information that could affect your tattoo appointment, including allergies, skin conditions, medications, or anything else that may impact the tattooing process. If you have concerns about whether you are able to receive a tattoo safely, consult an appropriate healthcare professional before your appointment.

Intoxication policy

Clients must arrive sober and able to provide informed consent. Anyone who appears intoxicated or impaired may be refused service. This is for both your safety and the safety of the artist.

Guest policy

Please limit guests to one. Extra guests can create distractions and take up workspace needed for a safe and comfortable tattooing environment. Children may not be permitted in the tattoo area.

Client conduct policy

Everyone is expected to treat the artist and other clients with respect. Harassment, threatening behavior, discrimination, inappropriate touching, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the appointment being ended without a refund.

Right to refuse service policy

I reserve the right to refuse or stop a tattoo if I believe the situation is unsafe, inappropriate, or outside my ability to tattoo responsibly. This may include intoxication, unsafe behavior, abusive conduct, certain skin conditions, or requests that I am not comfortable performing.

Aftercare policy

You will receive aftercare instructions for your tattoo. Proper aftercare is the client’s responsibility once they leave the studio. Following the instructions carefully helps your tattoo heal properly and maintain its appearance.

Photograph and portfolio policy

With your permission, photos of your finished tattoo may be taken for portfolio, promotional, or social media purposes. If you do not want your tattoo photographed or posted, please let me know.

Payment policy

Payment is due according to the payment terms provided when booking. Accepted payment methods and any applicable fees will be communicated before or during your appointment.

Refund policy

Payments for completed tattoo work are non-refundable. Deposits are also non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If there is an issue with your tattoo or appointment, please contact me directly so we can discuss the situation

Custom artwork policy

Custom tattoo designs are original artwork created for the client and may not be copied, reproduced, sold, or used by another tattoo artist without permission. Similar requests from other clients may be declined to preserve the originality of custom work.

Cover up policy

Cover-ups are evaluated individually because existing tattoos can affect what designs, colors, and sizes are possible. The final design may need to be larger, darker, or more detailed than the original tattoo in order to properly cover it.

Communication policy

Please keep communication regarding your appointment in the designated booking method. Responding promptly to messages helps ensure that designs, appointments, deposits, and other details are handled correctly.
