Kumiko Hero 8

About this design

I created a series of 8 Kumiko inspired ornamentals for my studio's recent One Shot Wall event. While this was designed to be a single session tattoo, you'll have the option to expand the piece into a full sleeve by adding ornamental scrollwork around it and expanding the kumiko pattern. I'm also open to altering the color scheme to suit your aesthetic. What is Kumiko? In Japan, artisans create mesmerizing geometric panels from carefully fashioned strips of wood, interlocking and pressure fit.
