About Santos
My name is Santos Ormsby, originally from Arizona. I’ve been tattooing professionally for 10 years and have been in the body modification industry for over 15 years, starting out as a piercer before transitioning into tattooing full time. Through years of hands-on experience in shop environments, I worked my way up to lead tattoo artist at my previous studio before moving from California back to Tucson, Arizona. I’m now based in Tucson where I co-own and operate Needles and Pins Tattoo Studio with my fiancé, Buffy. Building our own shop has allowed us to create a space that reflects our values, focuses on quality work, and provides a comfortable environment for clients and artists alike. I work across a wide range of tattoo styles, but I specialize in Black & Grey. I enjoy creating tattoos with strong contrast, smooth gradients, clean detail, and designs that flow naturally with the body. Whether it’s custom pieces, cover-ups, or larger projects, my focus is always on building tattoos that are intentional, well-executed, and made to last. Tattooing is more than just art to me — it’s a craft built on trust, collaboration, and experience. I appreciate everyone who takes the time to share their ideas and trust me with their skin, and I’m always looking forward to creating something meaningful together.

Policies
- Deposit Policy
- A non-refundable deposit is required to book all tattoo appointments. Deposits secure your appointment time and go toward the final cost of your tattoo. Clients may reschedule once with at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations, no-shows, or repeated reschedules result in loss of deposit. Arriving excessively late may require rescheduling. I understand life happens. Communication goes a long way, and I’ll always do my best to work with respectful clients when possible.
