About Aaron
Tattoo Artist My name is Aaron Sano, and I’m a tattoo artist born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. From a young age, I’ve always had a natural passion and ability for art. Over the years, I’ve continued to develop that passion through constant practice, education, and a commitment to improving my craft. I’m currently entering my 8th year of tattooing, and I believe that there is always something new to learn. I continue to push myself creatively by attending tattoo expos, learning from other artists, and taking apprenticeships and opportunities to expand my knowledge and techniques. I specialize in black and grey tattooing, with a strong focus on detail, smooth shading, and creating pieces that stand the test of time. I also specialize in cover-ups, taking tattoos that may seem impossible to cover and transforming them into something my clients can be proud to wear. Another area I’m passionate about is calligraphy and freehand lettering, including custom names and lettering designed specifically to flow with the placement and shape of the body. Whether it’s a name across the forearm, lettering on the back, or a completely custom piece, I enjoy creating designs that feel personal and unique to each client. My work also includes realism, portraits, and traditional tattooing, allowing me to work across a wide range of styles while continuing to develop my own artistic identity. For me, tattooing is more than simply putting ink on skin. It’s about taking an idea, a memory, or a vision and turning it into a piece of artwork that someone can carry with them for the rest of their life. I’m constantly learning, constantly creating, and always looking for the next opportunity to push my work further.
