Policies

Deposit Policy
-I take a deposit to secure your appointment, and for the time it takes to create your design ($100-$500, depending on the size). Certain concepts take a significant amount of time to draw. It is for that reason that the deposit cost is used to cover my draw time. The deposit cost DOES NOT go towards the final price of the tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable and will be collected during booking. -Upon paying a deposit, you acknowledge that you have communicated your tattoo design idea to me, the artist, to your satisfaction, have reviewed my works before deciding to book with me, and have decided that I can implement your idea to your satisfaction. You understand that creating a tattoo design based on a client's concept is subjective, and that variations may exist between your idea and the finished design. If the finished design is not to your liking, minor changes can be made at my discretion. However, substantial changes to the design or the request of an entirely new drawing or draft will require a new deposit, and the original deposit will be forfeited as payment for the artist's original drawing time. Flash Deposits -Deposits for flash work a bit differently. These deposits may go towards the price of the tattoo, as I often request half down for these tattoos. However, these are still non-refundable deposits.
Cover-Up Policy
Accepting cover-ups.
Rescheduling Policy
I will reschedule my appointments at my own discretion. I understand that life happens, and sometimes you may need to reschedule your appointment. Two reschedules are permitted with your original deposit, provided you give at least 48 hours' notice. If you need to reschedule more than twice, a new deposit will be required to hold your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. -If you cancel your appointment (without rescheduling) with less than 72 hours' notice, you will pay a cancellation fee of $200 and may lose your deposit. -To avoid any fees or scheduling issues, please take care of yourself and ensure your schedule is organized before your appointment to confirm your attendance. Plan so you have funds to cover the deposit and tattoo price before booking. This is my livelihood, so please consider that when making changes to your appointment. This policy is to protect myself, not to harm or disrespect others.
Touch-Up Policy
Free Touch-Up -I provide one free touch-up after the tattoo has healed in case anything has fallen out or for any reason that would have been my fault. The one free touch-up is only valid for 1 year after your appointment. $50 Touch-Up -If your tattoo has healed poorly due to your lack of properly following the after-care instructions, you will be charged a $50 touch-up fee. Please be honest if you violated any of the after-care rules I provided at your appointment. You will be charged a touch-up fee if you request a touch-up past 1 year from your appointment.
Billing Policy
You understand that you will be billed at my current daily or hourly rate, or agreed-upon flat rate, starting at your scheduled appointment time, for all tattooing and tattooing-related services, including, but not limited to: - Time used to edit or resize the tattoo design if needed - Time used to apply tattoo stencils to the body; - Time used to assemble tattoo equipment and open sanitary supplies in front of you, or to replenish necessary supplies during the tattoo session; - All breaks during the appointment that either of us requests. - Lateness on your part of 1-30 minutes for any reason. - Any touch-up work needed as a result of negligent aftercare of the tattoo, or any touch-up work requested 6 months or more after the initial application of the tattoo.
Artwork Policy
Artwork Policy -Please note that I complete all drawings in the order of scheduled appointments each week. For this reason, I kindly ask that you don't message me to see your design in advance. All artwork will be ready for review 24-48 hours before your appointment. This ensures that each client receives the same level of focus and attention to detail. I will send the design within the time. If more time is needed to finish your drawing, you will be notified ASAP. Artwork Ownership -All tattoo designs are the intellectual property of the artist. While your deposit secures my time to create and prepare artwork for your session, payment of the deposit or drawing time does not grant ownership or permission to use the design elsewhere. Drawings may not be taken to or used by another tattoo artist. The artwork is created exclusively for your appointment and remains the property of the artist.
Tardy & No-Show Policy
-Please respect the time set aside for your appointment. You are permitted to arrive up to 30 minutes late, provided you message me in advance. If you are more than 30 minutes late without notifying me, you will be considered a no-show and blacklisted from booking in the future. -A valid card on file is required when booking your appointment. In the event of a no-show, your card will be automatically charged a $200 fee. This policy ensures respect for both my time and other clients waiting for appointments. A deposit will also be forfeited in full in the case of: - You do not appear for a tattoo appointment. - You cancel less than 72 hours before or reschedule an appointment less than 48 hours. - You arrive more than 30 minutes late to a tattoo appointment; - You reschedule 3 or more times for any sessions of the same tattoo, regardless of notice. - You arrive at a tattoo appointment without government-issued identification

FAQ

What is your booking process like?
-Step 1: Fill out a tattoo inquiry on my Co: Create page to completion. I will respond to your inquiry within 48 hours. I will send you a message to set up an over-the-phone or in-person consultation if I can take on your project. You will receive a deposit request that must be paid by the end of your consultation (within 48 hours). -Step 2: Prepare for your consultation Make sure you have read through my policies and FAQ, and have any questions ready at the consultation. -Step 3: the consultation. The appointment can last 15 to 30 minutes. We will cover design, placement, appointment date and time, questions, concerns, etc. Once we are both on the same page, I will give you an estimate, and you will pay the deposit. I will book you and provide any additional information. I will send the design one to two days before your appointment to make sure any changes can be made before your appointment.
How do Flash and Premade designs work?
All flash and premade designs are one-use only. These designs cannot be altered. The posted size of each design is fixed unless you want to size up a considerable amount. If that is the case, please put in a custom inquiry with the size and placement. Flash and premade designs cannot be bought and tattooed by another artist.
How can I prepare for my appointment?
-A week before your tattoo: take care of the skin that will be tattooed. I will not tattoo you if you show up to your appointment with damaged skin. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water! Hydrated skin makes my job easier. Moisturizing and light exfoliation also ensure your skin is in the best condition before your tattoo. Do not exfoliate in the 3 days before your appointment. Do not moisturize on the area that will be tattooed the day of your appointment. Plan your exercise routine accordingly; you won't be able to sweat or exercise a week after your appointment. -24 hours before your appointment: Do not consume ibuprofen or blood-thinning medication, as you will bleed more during your tattoo. Do not consume drugs or alcohol, as they can also cause more bleeding. Get plenty of rest the night before your appointment. -The day of your appointment: Eat a good meal before your appointment. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks before your appointment. I also have free snacks and drinks at my studio. Do not consume energy drinks or caffeine before or during an appointment; they will dehydrate you and make you jittery. Wear adjustable, comfortable clothing so I can access the tattoo location. Do not wear light colored clothing. Bring a jacket or blanket; it gets chilly during breaks. PLEASE SHOWER BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT! Be conscious and respectful by preparing for the location where I will be tattooing. If I am tattooing your legs, wear clean socks and avoid wearing stinky shoes. I've had cases so bad that it makes tattooing difficult. If it's a serious issue, I will make you aware quietly and respectfully. Distraction makes sitting for a tattoo easier, so bring some form of entertainment. I will also be happy to chat with you during your tattoo.
What tattoos won't you do?
I am not taking on: arm bands or garters, finger or toe tattoos, tattoos on or near genitals, white ink tattoos, hate symbols, face tattoos, or palm tattoos. I especially want to mention that I will not be tattooing any work or designs done by another tattoo artist, including AI art. I will create custom designs based on the references you provide. Please be clear about what you want. Do not send an inquiry with the illusion that you want a custom, only to change your mind after I have drawn a design and request that I copy a reference photo you sent. Exceptions to this are: you are requesting a realism or portrait tattoo, you have special permission from an artist to use their work, or I am copying/ or incorporating a design from a fandom or famous/classical traditional artist.
What is your scheduling like?
I work Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays; 10:30 am - 7:00 pm. Occasionally, I offer Sundays and Wednesdays to clients I've tattooed. I do not close my books. I always have availability, but I cannot guarantee short-notice appointments. Plan to book 1-2 weeks out from your tattoo inquiry. I won't book further than two months out.
How do I take care of my tattoo?
Plastic wrap will stay on for two or three hours. Second skin wrap will stay on for three to seven days. Remove the wrap if the tattoo leaks out, part of the tattoo becomes exposed, or it irritates your skin. It is easiest to remove the wrap in the shower. After the wrap is removed, wash and moisturize 2-3 times a day. Air dry or pat dry with a clean paper towel. Wash using an anti-bacterial soap. Moisturize with an uncented moisturizer. Remember, your tattoo is an open wound; clean your hands before touching your tattoo. Wear clean, loose clothing over your tattoo. Avoid products containing alcohol. What to expect the first week: your tattoo can be swollen or tender. Take a pain reliever or an ice pack to alleviate pain. Your tattoo may look muddled or have an ink sack under the second skin. This is normal; your tattoo is healing and pushing out ink, blood, and plasma. What to expect the second week: your wrap should be off. Your tattoo will be a little dry, flaky, or scabby. There will be itching. Use moisturizer to alleviate itch and prevent the tattoo from drying out too much. Do not over-moisturize, as it can slow down healing. Do not itch, smack, or pick at your tattoo to alleviate itch; this will cause poor healing. Small pats or gentle rubbing is okay. What to expect in the third and fourth weeks: your tattoo will be a little flaky and begin to smooth out. Clean and moisturize at least once a day. By the fifth and sixth week, your tattoo should be healed. What to avoid: heavy sweating for the first few days, as sweating under the second skin can lead to infection. Do not submerge your tattoo in water for 2 to 3 weeks or until the tattoo is no longer flaky. That means no baths, pools, hot tubs, or saunas. Showering is okay. Stay away from environments that might introduce bacteria to your tattoo. Wear clean protective clothing if you must be in a compromising environment. Keep your fresh tattoo out of the sun; you can wear sunscreen with limited exposure at 3 to 4 weeks.
Can I bring a guest to my appointment?
One guest is allowed at your appointment. Do not bring a guest if you are getting tattooed with another person. Bring a person who will be comforting, not someone who will have an opinion on your tattoo. This makes for a less stressful experience for both of us. Absolutely NO CHILDREN, BABIES, or PETS! The only exception will be service animals.
Can I see the design before my appointment?
I will send the design either the night before, or 2 days before, or sometime in between. DO NOT continually ask me when the design will be done; you are not my only client, and I will work on designs in the order of my appointments. I will send the design when I am done, and if I am running behind, I will let you know. All major changes must be made before the appointment. I can make small design changes at the appointment. The request for a new drawing will require a new deposit and a new appointment.
Can I apply numbing cream before my appointment?
Yes, you must let me know that you will be using numbing before your appointment. You will be responsible for purchasing and applying the cream before your tattoo. I recommend Hush numbing or Dr. Numb.
Can I partake in drugs or alcohol before/during my appointment?
Please do not consume alcohol or smoke/consume nicotine products. CBD isolate gummies may be beneficial if you are experiencing anxiety. Do not consume if you don't have previous experience with CBD products. Do not consume THC products.
I am losing weight/bulking up, should I wait to get tattooed?
Fluctuation in weight is normal. In most cases, it shouldn't affect your tattoo. You should hold off getting tattooed only in extreme cases. If you are losing or gaining a large amount of weight (100-200 lbs), where the skin will be stretched, you should wait. If you are planning to get skin removal surgery, especially in the areas you want tattooed, wait to get tattooed.
Should I leave a tip?
Tips are welcome but not expected. You can tip whatever feels right. I have no preference and will never shame you in whatever choice you make. If you really want to leave tips but are not sure you can afford it after paying for a tattoo, I welcome small plants, crafts, food, or other random things as tips.
Will you tattoo another artists design?
I will only tattoo another artist's design if you have evidence that they have given permission. I will be happy to use any reference you bring me and create something original, but I will not copy a design exactly.
I have a medical conditional, can I get tattooed?
If you have bleeding or circulatory issues, compromised immune systems, chronic skin conditions like psoriasis, heart conditions, or diabetes, please consult your doctor before booking an appointment. I am not a medical professional, and I cannot give medical advice.
I have allergies/voluntary restrictions, are your products safe?
Please address your allergies and other concerns with me during your consultation. I do my best to accommodate in any way I can.
What is your pricing?
My starting and hourly price is $120. Half days are $500, and full days are $1000. Pricing depends on size, detail, and placement. I will provide a personalized estimate when you send a tattoo inquiry. I will charge a nonrefundable deposit that covers drawing and design prep. Deposits range from $50 - $500, depending on size and detail. Deposits are a separate cost from the tattoo.
I have mobility restrictions, are you able to accommodate me?
The studio I am at has ramps to the entrances and an elevator. During the appointment, I will accommodate you as long as you inform me of your needs.
I am under 18, will you tattoo me with parent permission?
I apologize in advance that I will not be able to tattoo you, regardless of your parents' permission. I will be happy to tattoo you once you are of age.
Will the tattoo be painful?
Yes, tattoos hurt. Pain is subjective; I cannot tell you how you might experience the pain of a tattoo.
I am feeling unwell, should I show up for my appointment?
Please reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell. Regardless of what is ailing you, getting tattooed while sick makes the process more painful. I also don't want to get sick if you are carrying something contagious. Contact me asap if you won't be in good health for your appointment. You will still be charged a rescheduling fee if you reschedule the morning of your appointment.
