About Valeriia
Hi! I’m Valeriia, a Ukrainian tattoo artist based in Los Angeles, inspired by whimsical botanicals, vibrant color work, and soulful pet portraits. I create custom tattoos filled with meaning — including florals, cover-ups, and scar cover-ups — always honoring the natural movement of the body. Tattooing for me is more than art — it’s connection, healing, and transformation. Let’s bring your story to life.

- Touch-Up Policy
- I want your tattoo to heal beautifully. • One free touch-up is included within 3 months of your appointment, if needed. • Touch-ups are only provided if proper aftercare was followed. • Touch-ups requested after 3 months, or due to aging, sun exposure, or improper aftercare, may require an additional fee. • Touch-ups for tattoos done by other artists are considered new work. Healing varies from person to person, and I’m happy to support you through the process.

- Guest Policy
- To ensure a calm, safe, and focused environment, I kindly ask that you come to your appointment alone. • Please do not bring friends, family members, or guests unless previously discussed. • Children and pets are not allowed at the appointment. • Tattoo sessions require full concentration, and extra people can be distracting and affect the quality of the work. • My workspace is designed specifically for the client and artist, and space is limited. Thank you for understanding.
- Appointment Safety Policy
- For the safety and comfort of both the client and artist, I reserve the right to pause, stop, or refuse a tattoo session if necessary. This may include arriving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, disruptive or inappropriate behavior, health or skin conditions that make tattooing unsafe, or any situation where I cannot provide the service safely and professionally. If a session is ended for these reasons, deposits are non-refundable.
FAQ
- How do I book an appointment?
- Please submit a booking request through my form with a description of your idea, placement, size, and reference photos. Once approved, you’ll receive instructions to place a deposit and secure your appointment.
- How much do tattoos cost?
- Pricing depends on size, detail, placement, and time required. Only after reviewing your request, I will provide an estimate rate.
- Is the deposit refundable?
- Deposits are non-refundable but go toward the final price of your tattoo. They secure your appointment and cover design preparation time.
- How should I prepare for my appointment?
- Please arrive well-rested, hydrated, and having eaten. Avoid alcohol 24 hours before your appointment. Moisturized skin helps achieve the best result.
- How long does healing take?
- Initial healing takes about 2–3 weeks. Full healing can take up to 4–6 weeks. Proper aftercare is essential for the best outcome.
- When will I see the design?
- Most designs are created during the appointment so they fit your body perfectly. I prepare ideas in advance, but much of the process is collaborative. I often draw directly on the skin or work partially freehand to ensure the design flows naturally with your anatomy. This allows me to create a truly custom tattoo made specifically for you.
- Do you do touch-ups?
- Yes, one touch-up is included within 3 months if needed and if proper aftercare was followed.
- Do you do cover-ups?
- Yes. Please submit clear photos of the existing tattoo. Cover-ups often require larger designs for the best result.
- Do you tattoo in your own style?
- Yes. I specialize in botanical realism, color realism, and custom artistic tattoos. I do not copy other artists’ work, but I’m happy to create something inspired and unique for you. This protects your artistic identity.
- Can I bring someone with me?
- o maintain a calm and focused environment, I recommend coming alone. Tattooing requires concentration, and a quiet space helps ensure the best result. If you would like to bring a friend or family member, please let me know in advance. They are welcome to wait in the common area if space allows. Only the client and artist are permitted in the working area during the session. For safety and comfort reasons, children and pets are not permitted at tattoo appointments.
- Do you use numbing cream?
- I generally do not use numbing cream, as it can affect how the skin reacts, how the tattoo heals, and how colors settle in the skin. In some cases, it may also increase the risk of irritation or allergic reactions. If absolutely necessary, it can be discussed individually. I work gently and can adjust the pace of the session or split it into shorter appointments to keep you comfortable.
