About Lorri “Lady L”
Lorri “Lady L” Thomas is a fine artist who started her journey into tattooing in 2005. Her favorite styles of tattooing include tribal, watercolor and black/ grey realism but she specializes in cover ups. She has been voted "Detroit's Best Tattoo Artist" for three consecutive years (Michigan Chronicle 2016/2017/2018) and also has been honored by the Detroit Pistons and Crown Royal as Detroit’s Creative “Culture Creator” (2021) and GoDaddy Icons of Detroit (2021). Lorri is currently based in Detroit, MI at one of the best tattoo shops in the city, Detroit Inkspot. She does travel around the U.S. often tattooing and speaking at tattoo conferences.

- Deposit Policy
- Deposits are nonrefundable. Deposits can be transferred to a new appointment date ONLY if the client contacts me 24+ hours before their appointment time.
- Cover-Up Policy
- Accepting cover-ups.
- Rescheduling Policy
- You must contact me 24+ hours before your appointment time to reschedule without losing your deposit.
- Touch-Up Policy
- Touch ups are free for up to 1.5 years from the original appt date.

- What are the hours for your studio?
- I am appt only. Monday thru Saturday 12p-9p
- What is recommended aftercare?
- I recommend unscented antibacterial soap to cleanse the tattoo and Shea butter, coconut oil or Aquaphor for aftercare.
- Any advice for clients getting their first tattoo?
- Please moisturize your skin weeks prior to your appointment. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and have a nice meal before your appointment.
