I categorize sessions into half days (4 hrs total, under 4 hrs of tattooing) and full days (5-8 hrs total, 4+ hrs of tattooing). full day = $1,000-1,200/day ($100 deposit + $900-1,100 full day rate) half day = $300-700 ($100 deposit + $200-600 partial day rate) *community (mutual aid) flash not included in standard rates* * I offer sliding scales for Black and Indigenous clients, as well as clients who are sex workers. Don't be shy, please inquire! * Color tests are always free for Black and deeply melanated people, in addition to clients who have had allergic reactions to tattoo inks and want reassurance that they won't react to my inks. Please respect this - if these conditions don't apply to you, I will happily give you a color test for $50. Yes. I accept weekly, biweekly, or monthly payment plan installments leading up to the appointment. The cost of the tattoo must be paid in full on the day of the appointment.

Days are flexible but start/end times are as follows: Full day 10am - 6pm Half days 10a - 2pm / 2pm - 6pm

I will not tattoo any words, phrases, or imagery from a language or culture that you don't speak or that don't belong to you. I also will not tattoo other artist's designs unless if you have proof of explicit written consent from the artist(s).

Tattooing is: a) a sacred practice connected to my ancestry b) a very challenging craft, and c) a medium that regularly cracks my ego open. it’s something i do to create kinship, honor rituals, and facilitate expansion. Tattooing is an exercise in trust, communication, and nerve. This is blood magic - a significant effort to alter reality; tattooing teaches us how to expand our tolerance for pain in this world of suffering. it teaches us how far the mind and body can stretch and what it means to remember. At its best, tattooing is a fusion of all these things - pain, connection, relief, grounding, elevation.

Yes! Touch ups are free within the first two years. There are so many variables that effect how a tattoo heals, especially large color packed areas, hands, feet, face, or thicker/more calloused areas. No two bodies react to, or heal from, tattoos the same. I want you to feel happy with your tattoo(s).

NO alcohol, or blood thinning agents like aspirin, alcohol, turmeric, or NSAIDS for 24 hours before your appointment if you are able. If you are on prescription blood thinners or these things are an important regular part of your life and can't be avoided without disrupting you, please let me know. Please be transparent about your pain tolerance so that pain management tools can be discussed as needed. Exfoliating, hydrating, and moisturizing regularly for a few weeks up to your appointment helps prepare your skin for tattoos. This makes my job easier. Try to do this on the day of your appointment at least. Generally, I will shave the area to be tattooed, so don’t fret about shaving and please keep your skin clear of makeup or other products on the day of your appointment. Getting a good night's sleep, having a full meal, and wearing clean, loose clothing before your appointment is integral for your body’s ability to handle the trauma of a tattoo. Bring whatever would make you feel comfortable. Small things like being dehydrated or over stressed can greatly affect the skin's ability to accept ink; it is important to arrive grounded, rested & well taken care of for the quality of your piece & ease of my process. Secondskin Aftercare: -Leave on for 3 days max. -Remove gently in shower with clean hands. -Clean with UNSCENTED soap, pat dry with a clean paper towel or let air dry. -Ink, blood, and plasma will collect inside the bandage - this is normal. If the liquid inside the bandage leaks OUT of the bandage, or anything seeps IN, immediately take the bandage off then continue with post-bandage care. Standard (Soaker Bandage or Post-Second Skin) Aftercare: -Remove soaker bandage after 3 hours, or overnight if tattoo was done in the evening. -Always handle tattoo with clean hands, wash gently with warm water and UNSCENTED soap (liquid preferred) 1x/day for 5 days. -Pat dry with a clean paper towel or let air dry. -Wear CLEAN long sleeves and/or pants to bed in order to minimize contact with bacteria for the first 2 days. -Moisturize lightly with UNSCENTED moisturizer (raw shea butter or cocoa butter is best). -APPLY ICE to alleviate itchiness/soreness. Leave it alone - let it breathe, scab, and heal. Apply sunscreen after scab has fallen off to preserve saturation. DONT’s: Within the first 1-2 weeks: - Heavy exercise/perspiration (until scab has formed) - Excessive (10+minutes) sun/UV light - Submersion in bodies of water (no swimming/saunas/baths for as long as scab is on) - Tight or abrasive clothing/jewelry/bandages
