Kourtney is a black & grey/ blackwork tattoo artist, occasionally taking on vibrant color projects. She loves projects in gothic, ornamental, and botanical styles, where she has always been fascinated with old cathedral architecture, and the art of attention to detail. She loves to work with themes that feel ethereal, haunting, and nostalgic. She loves to also take on projects that involve creatures/ animals, mythologies, legends/ cryptids, and bringing book characters to life! Kourtney’s muses: •Greek mythology (specifically Persephone & Hades, Hecate, and Nyx)• •Swamps & Southern Gothic decay• •Gothic, Dark & Romantic themes• •Dark beauty• •Ornamental designs• •Botanical/ Organic/ creatures, animals & insects• Kourtney had an interest in art from the time she was a child, but knew she wanted to become a tattoo artist at 15 years old. She remains dedicated and disciplined to her craft by continuous practice and a commitment to education.
