About Gossamer

Gossamer Rozen (they/she) is an LGBTQIA+ African-American & Filipino fine artist & tattooer based in New York City. They are self-taught in tattooing and specialize in creating tattoos by hand (handpoked). Gossamer is also founder of Tigerbob, a character brand, fashion & fine art project dedicated to producing objects with intention. Tigerbob's existence is active resistance against the systemic issues that have created an unfair, unsustainable creative economy by empowering the artist to retain full creative control of the brand and its products and services. The artist has received recognition from Phaidon & the New Museum, and is a past collaborator with The Boston Globe, Patagonia, Squarespace, & Dr Martens.
