About Lalo

Lalo is a very accomplished Tattoo Artist and Painter who studied fine arts in Cuba and then spent 7 years studying painting and sculpture at the Art Students League of New York. He brought his unique Magical Realism tattoo style to the New York City tattoo scene and made a name for himself as one of the top artists in the country according to many publications like REFINERY 21, FORM, VICE, many times cited as one of New York`s 10 best tattoo artists. He has also been featured in TV shows like “Habla Men” on HBO, “Ron’s House” on MTV, “Lucky Bastards” on Esquire, and the most important tattoo show on TV, INK MASTER!! seasons 2 and 9. He has also done collaborations with brands like MIKE’S HARD LEMONADE, designing a limited edition series of cans, SPERRY SHOES, and MANY MORE. He excels at every tattoo style from minimalism through black and gray, micro-realism to full-blown color realism, and has various awards from tattoo conventions and competitions.
